Last Supper

This is a Peanutbutter and Jelly sandwich on day old Acoustich bread. The demension of the is 2ft x 3ft. This is my largest work to date and is symbolic of one last memerable moment with some one before the step out of your life for awhile or ever.

For this larger work I also emlpoyed the reduction technique, and I also used cold wax to add a considerable amount off texture to create impasto.

This is the smallest piece to a diptych I created in the fall of 2007. The imagery is taken of mold that I cultured on some german chocolate cupcakes in side a tupper ware container for around nine months. I enjoied making this piece because reduction was a major part of the creation of this work.
